My Pink Stamper Color challenge!

Today over on the My Pink Stamper blog she is having a color challenge. The colors are Pink, Green, Orange and Brown. I went through my scraps and this is what I came up with!

Okay so today's card is for the Peachy keen challenge #31 and The Cuttlebug spot, Celebrate Independence Day. I really like how this card turned out! I used my gypsy and cricut to cut out the star in the center of my mat layer and then cut the same star in white and used the center as the center layer to my mat. I used the cuttlebug embossing folder "stars" to emboss my mat layer. I found some glittery stars in my stash and a word tag which I tied to the card with twine. So this was a pretty easy card to make but somehow took me all day to make, how is that possible?!! Thanks for checking it out and let me know what you think! Have a great day!!

Moxie Fab; Teusday trigger!

Hello everyone!! I decided to try something new with this card. I have been trying out a lot of different styles lately trying to find my own, not sure what my style is yet because I like elements from all styles! Anyways I am not sure about this card but I figured I spent enough time on it that I should enter it anyway! I wanted a hibiscus background and I did not have the paper or a stamp so I made one of my own! I used my cricut and the cricut stamp material and cut the hibiscus image on the "Life's a beach" cart. Then I stamped it in versamark, it looked great but I felt it was missing something so I cut the layers to the hibiscus and stamped over the versamark image. I am not sure it made it better but oh well, what is done is done!! Thanks for visiting and have a great day!!
